Supplying Files

In order to print your job, we need page layout files, all linked graphics, all embedded graphics supplied as separate files, and all fonts used in either the page layout file or any placed EPS graphics.  Failure to supply any of these files has a simple consequence: we can't preflight or output your job until we get them.  All of them.

For those of you submitting layouts for prepress checkovers, it's good to provide us with working copies of your files, especially Photoshop files in layers. Some problems that are impossible to fix in a flattened TIFF are trivial to fix when we have access to the native file.

Directory structure

Please make sure that it's obvious which files you want us to use.  Put all fonts in a folder entitled "fonts."  If you have working files, put them in a folder entitled "working."  If your disk contains extraneous files that we don't need, put them in a folder entitled "ignore."
